While I was walking towards #vellaipillayartemple I saw this mandapa(#porch ).
This look like the shelter for travellers who used this path frequently 500 years ago to visit #swamimalaimurugantemple and #vellaipillayar temple.u can notice this mandapa level above from the ground this is a good example for safeguarding travellers from rainfall, flood, hot summer, cold Winter and reptiles!!!
