I Learnt a new word quickly!

I learnt the simple word Lintel while talking to Civil engineer

horizontal support of timber, stone, concrete, or steel across the top of a door or window.

A little story behind this vocabulary

A few days back I spoke to a 52-year-old civil engineer, he told about his career what he did in his experience and he told that I am so grateful that I worshipped Lord Vishnu in temple’s(forgot the temple name) main chamber for straight 6 hours. I got a project to fix the main chamber’s doorway lintel within a day, For that from midnight to early morning, my workers started to fix the lintel with a combination of material to fix it…

I was the senior supervisor there I monitoring them at the same time I am worshipping my beloved god so closely “.

I asked him what is lintel then he pointed me the building doorway and window’s upper supporting column…
